CONTEST CATEGORY DEFINITIONS: HEALED FULL SLEEVE (ARM OR LEG)
HEALED FULL SLEEVE (LEG OR ARM)
Definition: A fully healed tattoo that covers the entire arm (shoulder to wrist) or entire leg (hip to ankle), demonstrating cohesive design flow, masterful execution, and complete healing across the full limb.
Requirements & Guidelines:
Coverage Specifications:
- Arm Sleeve: Must extend from shoulder to wrist (or beyond) with complete coverage
- Leg Sleeve: Must extend from hip to ankle with complete coverage
- Minimal gaps or untouched skin areas acceptable only if part of artistic design
- Must demonstrate cohesive flow around entire limb circumference
Healing Requirements:
- Tattoo must be completely healed (minimum 8-12 weeks post-completion due to extensive size)
- Consistent healing across entire sleeve
- No scabbing, peeling, or signs of fresh work anywhere on the piece
Artistic Composition:
- Cohesive design theme throughout entire sleeve
- Proper flow with natural body contours and joint movement
- Balanced composition from all viewing angles
- Seamless transitions between different design elements
Submission Requirements:
- Both Client and Artist must be in attendance at the contest
- Artist must be registered with the show and assigned to a booth
