FRESH BEST SMALL HORROR

Definition: A freshly completed horror-themed tattoo measuring 8x8 inches or smaller, showcasing dark artistic elements and macabre imagery while still in the fresh healing stage.
Requirements & Guidelines:
Size Specifications:
  • Maximum dimension: 8x8 inches or smaller in height, width, or diameter
  • Minimum size: 1 inch (to ensure adequate detail visibility)
Fresh Tattoo Requirements:
  • Tattoo must be started and completed within show hours for each day
  • Multiple Day Pieces can ONLY enter Sunday's Multi-day or Collab Contest
  • May NOT show signs of partially healed
  • Should be clean, will be wiped at the stage, do not send to the stage in bandages
Horror Theme Criteria:
  • Must clearly represent horror genre elements
  • Examples: skulls, demons, monsters, gothic imagery, dark creatures, horror movie characters
  • Dark atmospheric elements and mood
  • Effective use of horror aesthetics and symbolism
Technical Standards:
  • Clean, precise linework appropriate for horror style
  • Proper shading and contrast to create dark atmosphere
  • Color work (if applicable) should enhance horror theme
  • No technical flaws visible
Submission Requirements:
  • Both Client and Artist must be in attendance at the contest
  • Artist must be registered with the show and assigned to a booth
  • If a coverup: Detail shots showing the coverup work and transformation details
